How long have you been in business?
Donovan's Design - RefreshMyPC.com was started in 2000.
What is your primary product or service?
Computer Refresh's, Repair, upgrades, network, database design. We also do websites, and have Barcoding that we just recently added. We are resellers of TigerDirect.com, GoDaddy Website Servies, and Xigla Software backend website programming software.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
As the owner, I started back in 1980 ripping apart computers, toasters, phone systems and worked on Commodore 64 with Basic. From there it's been everything that I could get my hands on. Reading tech books that others found boring.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
We understand technology and break it down in non-tech terms that you can understand. We make roundtrip housecalls. If we need to bring your computer back to the shop to have it fixed, we'll deliver it back to your house.
We are very quick at what we do as well. Quick turnarounds.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
We have one location, your location. We come to you. We have a shop to do the work in, but why would you want to visit a shop when you are comfortable in your own home or office?
