How long have you been in business?
Main Street Formals has been in business since 1986.
What is your primary product or service?
Tuxedo rentals and sales, and alterations on all forms of clothing, including bridal and prom wear.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
Unlike chain stores, Main Street Formals offers brides and grooms the opportunity to try on different styles of tuxedos to explore which styles, cuts and fabrics they most prefer. Furthermore, unlike our competitors, we encourage customers to try on their rentals before they take them home so that each suit can be properly custom-tailored. In addition, we offer the region's largest in-stock selection of formal vests and ties, including all of the hard-to-find colors.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
At present, our sole location is approximately 2 miles over the New Bedford line, at 320 Main Street, Acushnet.

Follow Tarklin Hill Road toward Rochester. When you arrive at the four-way stop sign at the Acushnet Police/Fire station/Town Hall, proceed straight through the sign (Tarklin Hill Road becomes North Main Street). We are one mile down on the right, just past Pop Park and Roseland Nursury.
