Fairview Millwork & Kitchens has been in business since 1953.
What is your primary product or service?
Home improvement products including doors, windows, kitchens, kitchen & bath design, decking & railing, mouldings, exterior trim, & flooring. We provide inside & outside sales service to contractors, builders & homeowners.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
I am the owner, Ted Mahoney, of Fairview Millwork & Kitchens and started working at Fairview Millwork & Kitchens since I was a child learning about different aspects of the business. I became a general contractor for several years and built over 500 homes in the New England are. As a family-owned and operated business I took over the company as the 3rd generation. I am also involved in several industry organizations & have served as President for 2 years in the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB). Some other organizations include NARI, NKBA, & BAGB.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
Our sales people have the experience and knowledge because they have been in the business for several years. They also take product training classes to learn about the latest product developments in the industry. Additionally we provide personal service and know our customers.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
Currently Fairview Millwork & Kitchens has 5 locations including Bridgewater, MA, South Yarmouth, MA, Sutton, MA, Amherst, NH, and Seabrook, NH.
What type of payments do you accept?
We provide commercial & consumer financing. We also accept cash, checks, and all major credit cards.
Which areas do you service?
We service Southern New Hampshire, Eastern Massachusetts, and Worcester Massachusetts county areas.
Who owns your company or runs daily operations?
The store managers run the daily operations for each retail location.
